But bill, that 15-20% is all I was refering to. Cox already has 2way-equipped COs, and is completing installation of their HFC. MY point was that where cable modems were offered, they would likely beat out telco ADSL.. on the basis of price. As you know, many cable cos aren't currently planning to upgrade to 2way.

<I don't think Lucent will corner the market on integrating ADSL in an existing CO solution. Lucent is only claiming they are the first to offer the same architecture in the CO, remote locations or in the DLC/SLC systems>

Regardless, for your AIU solution, you need at least a digital ESS and who knows what else?... *literally*... anyone switch engineers out there? (I had seen some recent news on SS7 integration of IP)
