Re: "Since you haven't been keeping up with current events, I'll help you out...."

OK. Let's see this 'help'. <GGG>

Re: "Your democrat party has been taken over by some...."

(I'm a registered Libertarian, you Doofus. o maybe it's 'your Democrat Party'? LOL!)

Re: The US has more coal"

Yes. I know. Never uttered anything to the contrary.

Re: "... and oil reserves than anyone else in the world."

Apparently you not only haven't been 'keeping up with current events" (since, say, 1949 or so <g>), but you live inside some sort of hallucinatory alternate-reality.!

Only a person completely out of touch with reality would say something as manifestly FALSE as that is.

Hint: WORLD'S LARGEST KNOWN PETROLEUM RESERVES are in A) Russia and B) Saudi Arabia. (But if you want to count the entire Middle East as one area then that would move to the primary position.) Ask yourself why democrats are blocking any efforts to bring this energy to market.

PS --- I asked you (in my preceding post) for a rationale and explanation of the basis for your claim that production levels of oil decline when new sources of oil are blocked from coming to market, yet received no answer.

Perhaps you simply forgot, and are not just trying to DODGE the QUESTION?

Re: "You might be surprised to discover that production levels of oil decline when new sources of oil are blocked from coming to market."

Since there is ZERO geological connection between dissimilar reserves, perhaps you are alleging some sort of basis in ECONOMICS or in HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY for you asserted, (yet unsupported with any evidence) 'effect', Steve?

(If so, is this 'effect' modeled along the lines of a Bell Curve, a la the 'Laffer Curve'? Where resource OWNERS voluntarily choose to *withhold* production from market in order to maximize their eventual net gains? Is that the basic effect you are asserting??????????)
