The study by top Norwegian climate researcher Ola Johannessen, to be published in October by the Chinese Academy of Sciences but obtained Friday by Canwest News Service, identified a "strengthening linkage" between the upward trend in CO2 emissions over the past century and the shrinking of the Arctic ice cap, which reached a historic minimum last year and appears headed for similar decreases this summer.

I suppose the run on single sentence paragraphs are supposed to make the author sound smarter to the stupid masses. But actually not. Odd that temperatures are supposed to be rising and they are "strengthening linkage" to global warming. But they don't tell you temperatures have been going down for the last decade. Nor do they mention the volcanic activity under the north pole. Molten lava under an ice cap should melt some ice dontcha think?
