McCain, who had vowed to avoid the kind of negative tactics that were used against him in the 2000 Republican primary contest with George W. Bush, began attacking Obama during the Illinois senator’s trip to Iraq and Afghanistan late last month.

Are true statements "negative attacks"? I don't think so.

McCain has done nothing more than confront Obama with his own statements and to raise legitimate doubts about his "readiness" for the office -- something the media should have done months ago.

As to the Brittany/Paris references, they show McCain has a sense of humor about the entire thing and I don't find them to be negative in the least.

This is just one more case of the liberal media piling on McCain. It isn't working for them so far.
