Cut off the top and the bottom of the ear - peel away the outer layers of the husk. You may or may not rinse in water after that. I usually just run it under gently running water and sit it on a paper towel.
Put it in the microwave for several minutes - judge by size of corn.
It's steaming hot and peals very easily.... don't burn your hands :) Wonderful
