I don't know what to tell you. My friend is pure economist- head-down, number crunching aggregate data. I suppose the Fed just doesn't have enough experience with it. My friend said that they didn't know how to handle the exotic financial instruments, so they didn't try to regulate it. I told my friend to read this board. It would be enlightening. My friend is just one person, but I suppose there are many similar people who aid in the decision-making process. My friend says no more cuts; too many people worried about inflation. No hikes either; economy is too weak.
