I think your move from SUNW could'nt have been timed better. The Java, OPEN vs PROPRIETARY wars with Microsoft just might make for some tight times for Sun shareholders...for now anyway.

Jay: Your last post #490....The smoooooth landing was a nice touch. I commend you for not claiming to be the official Dialogic geru...though, you may own that spot anyway.

I sure would like to hear some engineer perspective on Dialogic. Do they have a shot at keeping pace with the R&D going into the development of the logic chips...the application specific integrated circut(ASIC)and digital signal processor(DSP)for their adapters without having to buy out to better technology that may be coming from BIG guys like Texas Instruments and Lucent's Bell Labs?

ps: I have always found it to be helpful in my reading for the author to carry, in quotes, the acronyms to the terms. That is why I do the same, respectfully. Sometimes it makes for long and quite possibly, unecessary ramblings but in the end...I think the reader might come out of it with a better perspective on technology and the like.
