The previous post I meant the revenue not yet received while the goods have been delivered to the customers, of course the deadline being midnight of 09/30/97.

From the following Yahoo link "http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/97/10/14/intc_x000_1.html", this number is nearly $4B which is 2/3 of the total revenue for Q3. Just imaging if this sum were received this quarter instead of diverting to the next quarter, this would add another $1.40 to the $0.88 EPS.

What I am saying is that this $0.88 EPS does not really measure how profitable Intel has done in Q3. A better analysis has to consider the difference in account receivables between Q3 and Q2.
