MM,

Flax seed oil is not good as a replacement of fish oil. The most active component of Omega 3 group is EPA. DHA after that. Flax seed oil does not really have any EPA and DHA. Flax seed oil has mainly Alpha Linolenic Acid. Body can convert Alpla Linolenic Acid to EPA and DHA, but the conversion is very inefficient. As a result, if flax seed oil is your only source of EPA, you are not getting much.
