I'll tell you what I think CNBC needs: Some good hardcore competition. They really get into trouble when they resort to filling airtime with what appears to be just about any talking head that happens in off the street. And what is the modus operandi of these talking heads...these Pickleskins of the 2 minute interview?.... Say something controversial, say something contrarian, but above all say something that will stick in the mind of some poor fool investor that will make them call me for appointment. I TIME THE MARKET BY READING ZEBRA STRIPES! AND THE STRIPES SAY THE TECHS WILL CRASH! Never mind that the stripes will change 1000 times after TV interview.. Hell by the time I get this poor fool in the office and introduce him to my hoop dance of zebraic cyclical stripings, I'll have him eating out of my hand....Just tell him market conditions have changed,thats all. CNBC should issue disclaimers for the fools they bring on and flash it above the ticker for the Pickleskins of the world ...WARNING THIS ANALYST IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR WEALTH BUT WE HAD TO FILL AIRTIME ANYWAY. God, I know now why Warren Buffet owns ABC. stephen
