my point exactly. Nationalization is a last resort when private markets fail as fannie and freddie or even the airlines. Then that option would have to be considered even if it wasnt yours or mine first choice. I started this nonsense yeserday after once again hearing buffet call for raised taxes. Corzine here in NJ said the ssme thing. That spawned my idea for my billionaire confiscation plan or death tax for billionaire who if they dont pay up get sent to putin. If only the 200 US billionaires were partriotic the national debt could be immediately reduced by trillions. Is asking billionaires to commit eco hari kari any worse than sending our young folks off to either stupid wars like vietnam or mis-fought ones like iraq? 200 dudes can solve our economic problem if we were to label them dead.
