The absurdity of this claim cannot be overemphasized.

You can't take figures from AAA and every other interested party and assume they are correct.

A DOE economist was quoted on CNN today as saying you could get "maybe" one percent, which is probably an overstatement.

I drove 400 miles in the last two days. I did not see one vehicle driving on a flat tire.

Underinflating by one or two lbs will not have a noticeable effect on fuel economy. At all. Now, if you are driving with a tire that is underinflated by 10 or 15 lbs, that's different -- but it is also very noticeable when you drive.

Obama is totally looking like a fool with this.
