You are forgetting, Tenchu is big on "nuance". He has a point, albeit a small one. If there had been no drilling bans, we might be producing somewhat more domestic oil than we are now. Might not. You have to admit that it is possible, although unlikely, that we could have discovered several Prudhoe's in the past 25 or so years of the drilling bans. Because you can't know for certain, then you have to assume the most optimistic possibility. Unless, of course, it is something he defines as "liberal", in which case you have to be the most pessimistic...
