It's like they are proud to be ignorant". They are.....because it makes them feel like a red blooded, salt of the earth Americans. "Ignorance" and "proud American" got tied together when a certain group, who will remain anonymous but we know who they are, began to feel themselves falling behind intellectually. So they turned people like Obama, who is smart, savvy and well educated, into elitists who can never be true Americans.
