Hi Barb, It's true about the DA and Cadence were illegally trading AVNT stocks. It was mentioned in WSJ or San Jose Mercury News about a few months back. I was in the Grand Jury once and even if there is an indictment, it doesn't mean AVNT is found of any wrong doing.....just that there is possible cause. Cadence hire Avant employee put words in their mouth to conspire to frame AVNT of wrong doing....brilliant way to frame AVNT and slow their R&D. Many corporation including most of our own corporation uses legal means to slow opponents from gaining market share.....I don't agree it's the best way to gain market share but if your competitors does it to you, you have no choice but to do capitalize legal means to slow them down too.
