So then you expect domestic production to climb back to the 72 peak and beyond???? Who said that? And if they haven't explored the leases they have Oil companies evaluate every lease. That may or may not involve drilling a hole in it. , why is the RW making such noise to drill "now" in the OCS? Why is the left so opposed to domestic energy production? Politics?? 74% of the public support opening more public lands up for leasing. When gasoline has risen so much and the public wants something, smart politicians get in front and say let's go.
