Occam is fine, as long as you don't simplify so far that it is looks wrong. I do not think you can read that jello as you have it, since your 'B' there is just too long a mess to "fit right" imo. It hardly matters however, so we can take this to PM if you like rather than cluttering the thread.

Fwiw, abc-x-abc is quite common.
