Mason, I wish you had a chance of being correct, but alas you don't.

First, IDTI hasn't ramped up to "steal XMAS" They don't nor could they have the production. Second, they don't have the alliances with the big boys that will own XMAS like Compaq, DELL, Gateway, or even the cheap guys like Packard Bell. Third, they don't have the time.

NOW, they do have the time to steal XMAS in 1998 or 1999 and maybe they can ultimately get there. The thing that may impress me and the market most is how fast they go from C6 concept to C6+ silicon. If they do that as fast as they claim and if C6+ delivers 95% of what they claim, both from a speed and a power point of view, on a chip size as small as they claim, then we may really have a major league winner on our hands. But who knows, the FPGA business may overwhelm IDTI and they will decide that the micro business is too much like a commodity to be interested in.
