Cantarell itself ain't down for lack of money. But the other Cantarell's out there, no one knows about ... they are untapped because of lack of money to explore for them.

Look, Mexico is part of the same big sedimentary basin TX and LA is. Oil and gas oughta be about as plentiful below the Rio Grande as north of it, but if you've ever seen a map of offshore developments in the GOM, you know MX has done very little there. They found Cantarrell by accident - a fisherman found a natural oil seep.

And the same thing is true onshore as well. MX is under-explored. Lots of virgin territory that ought to be rich in oil and gas.
