Where is the evidence that large modern wind turbines kill a lot of birds? Whenever I see them they seem to turn rather slowly.

High tension transmission wires do do in some birds.

The wind corridor in the US is relatively uninhabited.
You must be thinking of Marthas vinyard or other elite haunts.

Lot of worthless land in West texas and the Dakotas. Until now.
