Don't you know, it is. In Canada, it is free. Of course, if you have a brain tumor you may end up waiting 2 months for an MRI and another 6 months to begin your treatment regimen. If you're still alive, of course.

These people don't get it. If you want your health insurance company to pay for heroic measures to keep you alive, you have to pay them.

Someone should come up with a policy that just covers doctors visits and hospitalizations when the total bill is under $500. That would be some cheap insurance.
