Google 'wind power' and get informed on the subject. You might also check the Audibon Society, GreenPeace, and Sierra Club websites on their positions on Wind power. Those windmills look quite majestic from a distance, don't they?.

Also, look at information on the size of those majestic windmill blades that turn the turbines...they are huge. Jet airliners also look like they are majestic and moving rather slowly when they fly over, a function of distance and perception. We know that they are actually very big and moving very fast.

The wind corridors I am talking about run from Canada and the upper midwest (Minnesota, Dakotas, Montana, and Wyoming) down through Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, NM, AZ, and CA. Just because folks in much of that area don't have to live in condos doesn't mean the land in uninhabited.
Like I said, each form of power generation has Pros and Conc.
