does he have a problem if you take straight niacin He doesn't have a problem, but a lot of his patients have. His least complaints have been with Slo Niacin. He uses the "check with your Doctor" caution on Niacin, but I haven't since I know my primary at Kaiser is not interested and I have no problem with it. I think anything over 1000mg a day is pushing it.
