Rick, You have made my day! Not another post on what earnings will be for this quarter. With IDX at this point, our eyes need to be on the horizon, Randy's has never been a short term guy. Idx could have been profitable two years ago, without the Fingerscan aquisition. Anyone disapointed with that decision? Maybe the Biometric Tracking aquisition will hurt this quarter. I don't know or care. We could have shown a bigger profit last year without opening and staffing international offices for Fingerscan. Anyone think they will fail to pay off? I don't know the status of the Sylvan deal, but the best CO in the biometrics business is on it. If it falls through for some reason, I'm sure Randy already has a plan for national offices using the Identification Services Division. Note the annual report "ISD is poised to provide fingerprint services nation wide incorporating the Identix TouchPrint 600." This was talked about many times on this thread, before any SLVN JV. Oracle, DOD, Conavi Bank, INS, Automon, Illinois, Ohio, California, Texas, O'Hare airport, etc. etc. etc. Yes, the PE is 200+, but I know many on this thread read all info on biometrics. Thinking back over all that info. Who's making the market in bio-id? Printraks PE is about 1/10 of IDXs', and the share prices are about the same, for those without vision who want earnings RIGHT NOW! But IDX only continues to "widen the gap" on it's competitors. It's called market share.
