DTCC's pathetic position on FTD's as statistically insignificant... Pure propaganda.
The DTCC's attempts to wash over the multi-$Billion dollar naked short and FTD plague with misinformation and decries as statistically insignificant are beyond pathetic. With an admitted $6B a day in FTD's, and a number likely 10x higher than that, they try to wash over it like it's an acceptable level.

Imagine if the chief of police said:

"We have 1 million people living in our fine city. The murder rate is 1.5% or 15,000 people a day. We think that's an acceptable, even commendable rate and have no intention of taking steps to reduce it. Those who criticize are just being foolish..."

That's the DTCC's position on naked shorting and FTD's.
