Well if you open your eyes and see that the government now was Church then. The church in middle ages was the government and when you really examine history you would only conclude that people who were in the high places used religion as a tool. I guess not much have changed. How many do you think scientist/professors are working on deconstructing the "global warming" theory? Would you not like to hear as many arguments for and against the validity of the theory to make up your mind? I for sure prefer when there is balance in arguments otherwise we will have middle ages all over again. P.S. "Dark ages" does not mean no progress was made, the term is overused as is the inquisition. Did you know that more people died in Darfur than during inquisition? What does it say about our enlightened 21st century?
