Just more of your BS and FUD. You are just like nVidia was prior to the release of the Radeon 4850, "We will beat them silly with our great advantage." Turned out they didn't have much of an advantage after all. It now looks like they are well behind and getting worse.
Sideport memory is not that big an add on to price. The MB price difference between it being there or not is under $10 (on those MBs where its an option). I doubt you can find any discrete GPU for under $10 that would boost performance over the 790GX or even the 780G. Besides even the under $100 Biostar 790GX board has Sideport memory. It does come in three sizes, although so far, only the first two sizes are out, 64, 128 and 256MB.
As for not shipping new IGPs this year, according to the old roadmap, they weren't shipping R770 this year either, yet its been out for a month and a half already. Considering 780G lagged by less than 5 months after the R670 (3850/70) came out (Nov 19, 2007 to Mar 4, 2008), that would put it at (June 25, 2008 to) Oct 10, 2008 which is this year, Wbmw. Even giving it two more months, it still makes it into this year. Perhaps they are just waiting for it to be ready before announcing the roadmap change.
Still after all is said and done, Intel's flagship IGP's performance remains less than half of AMD's flagship IGP. And did you note that its DirectX 10 implementation is still fraught with bugs and implementation issues? At least the 740G, 780G and 790GX don't have that problem (or even with 10.1).
