Currently I´m licking my wounds because the very last round of shorting ended at a severe loss, and then I have some friends asking how the business is going.

Consumers who cruise may be in an income segment which is not scaling back at all;

As it seems I may have covered at the highest possible price in the current cycle.

But look: finance.yahoo.com if it decisively takes 40, then it looks up to the next floor. Normally and after today, I would short now, with a stop at slightly over 40 again.

The expected reduction in profits may not come if the oil keeps sagging. But a combination of relative dollar strength and oil strength should make the overseas business also more difficult.

Credit might be an issue but it would require CCL really deteriorating and posting losses.

RCL... RCL is underperforming CCL by a wide margin; which can be explained by its higher leverage.

finance.yahoo.com

Leisure and gaming... oddly enough, the cisco of gaming, IGT never recovered; maybe it is that people shift their demands more towards leisure. IGT has shrinking revenues and there are little catalysts to buy the stock...
