The 790GX is an interesting animal. AMD is basically encouraging gamers to buy a high end board, and then burden them with integrated graphics.

Well, I myself like to once in a while play a little Virtual Pool, drive a few laps in Live for Speed and land a few jets in Lock On. None of these simulators need high-end hardware to be enjoyable.

For me it is more important to have a power-efficient and quiet PC, since I spend both work hours and much leisure time in front of it. I also have an interest in computer music, so a noisy PC is a no-no for that reason as well.

For my next upgrade I am looking for a 790GX motherboard with the Athlon X2 4850 (45W) processor.
