Teri and all, this latest earnings estimate revision... brings Montgomery in line with the rest: Zacks consensus for the 10/97Q is 90 cents. Since Montgomery's estimate is dated 10/15/97 it suggests that nothing about AMAT has changed except the stock price. AMAT: MONTGOMERY SEC. has reiterated estimate for fiscal year ending 10/97 of $1.35 on 10/15/97 AMAT: MONTGOMERY SEC. has reiterated estimate for fiscal year ending 10/98 of $2.00 on 10/15/97 AMAT: MONTGOMERY SEC. increased estimate for quarter ending 10/97 from $0.46 to $0.91 on 10/15/97 I believe you, Teri, posted this before - but we paid little attention. :) GM
