I've not heard of them. My sausage turned out wonderfully. You love it when your first experiment is a home run! Some of the best I've ever had in fact. I'll make a 5lb batch next time and stuff 3 lbs or so for Italian sausage sandwiches. It only takes me minutes to whip up 2 12" crusts so it's really not a big deal. I can hardly get a drink mixed before the mixer is done doing it's thing:)
