This looks like a nice one. The G43 has the same graphics performance as the G45, but just lacks the Blu-Ray hardware decode capabilities.

If you need Blu-Ray hardware decode, then you have to go with the more expensive G45:

In the U.S. the E7200 + G43 motherboard above costs $225. The 4850e + 780G combo goes for $162. It depends on whether you are more cost focused or more performance focused. The reviews have seemed to suggest that going with Intel gives you up to 50% more performance, and it would be competitively low power. You could probably build identically silent systems for a cost difference of about $65 (not sure what this is in pounds). If that delta in price is available to you, I think that most people end up happier with getting the higher performance product. Again, YMMV.
