You see no contradiction between these two?

— Get 1 million 150 mile-per-gallon plug-in hybrids on U.S. roads within six years.

—Reduce U.S. demand for electricity 15 percent by 2020.

There are lots of places where we can become more efficient. Lighting is huge and with moves to fluorescent and eventually LED will save a huge amount of electricity. Still, I personally don't think we can do both of those things.

I'm glad you don't think putting a million plug in cars on the road is consistent with cutting electrical use 15%.

Wonder why Obama does?
