Tim thats a silly statement with absolutely no factual basis.

if the gov demands more taxes you will pay them .

and ps if the AMT is not withdrawn you will be paying more taxes if you are lucky enough to have your earnings keep up with inflation.

its called bracket creep...remember ?

the best you can hope for is that real entitlements get erroded by inflation....but you will still pay more in taxes across the board since taxes are not inflation adjusted as well.
