It has a very strong factual basis.

The entitlement programs are on a path to being a bigger percentage of our GDP than ALL government spending today.

Then you have to consider debt payments, defense, and all non-defense discretionary payments.

In the worst case the programs may be literally unaffordable, in that the government can't make enough revenue to fully fund them long term, no matter what it does with tax rates.

If it doesn't get that bad, they will be at least unaffordable in the more conventional sense of the term, where trying to afford and pay for them will be harmful.
