You missed on the 80% was semiconductor.Don't forget that The Def.Electronics was in the 2Q #s.I don't have the exact #s but they were the second largest business at TI and they sold for about 30% of their 1996 revenue so it is a good assumption that they were at least 20 or 30% of the revenue----the rest besides S/C was at least 15%---so untill this year S/C 55 to 65 % of revenue and if DSP was 40% of that----it was 22 TO 26% of the total----so using your #s and the more realistic % of revenue for S/C----we get 2Q S/C rev. of $1,407 to 1,663 and using 40% for DSP % we get $562 to 665 for dsp revenue in the 2Q if $840 for 3Q dsp revenue is correct then Dsp revenue growth has been 26 to 49% 2Q to 3Q Your analysis was good except you missed the % of revenue that S/C was in the 2Q of 1997 because you did not figure in the Def. electronics revenue which was sold to Ratheon.
------26 to 49% growth in a high margin area will cause a lot of stocks to go up-----
