jeff, i would have to disagree w. u re: short. u were not the first to discover that q1 is always low of the year. So accordingly the street had already priced in the lower expectaions (earn of .41-44) vs. q4 97 was .61. so the low revenue was expected to be low and u can not conclude based on this pattern that sunw was a short for oct and will be a short candiate for next oct. ... though i did enjoy ur table. and do agree that q4 98 should take us to new highs. if sun had simply met or exceeded these lower expectations we would be on our way to 50 and soon to 60 by end of the year. i m extreemly disappointed w. Sun not meeting these low estimates and also failed to warn the street. still long sunw and now will be longer since the drop. buy low right? but i always forget to sell high.
