If that commitment is expensive you learn your lesson and dont do it again.

This commitment was made in perpetuity. In any case both the reps and the dems proved they haven't learned anything, since they added to the burden with a new drug giveaway a few years ago.

And the talk of socializing the medical industry is as vibrant as ever.
