Walnuts are my personal favorite. They have actually done several excellent studies on is beneficial effects. I am also not worried about saturated fats at least not from nuts. I have my doubts about eating too much steak fat or butterfat. But just as I don't drink alcohol everyday, I don't eat meat everyday to give my body a rest.

Deep my heart (so to speak), I feel it is better not to overindulge in fatty meat.

Going from the extreme of saying that saturated fats are the root of all evil to the other extreme where they say that they are completely beneficial is too big a step for me.

Perhaps we should reread that Israeli study.

I have always had zero concern about the cholesterol in my diet.
