Ish, I had to look back at your post "header" and I read this: A place to gripe, bitch and complain and compliment and talk about fishing. We'll do some weather too. I am from West Texas (read: hot, flat, no water), but I just spent a couple months in East Texas on a lake, and so I can do all of the above. 1. I can gripe and bitch and complain that the fishing has been awful, I blew my boat motor a month ago and have as of yet been able to replace or repair, so not only did I have hard time getting off the lake, I cannot get ON the lake now.... 2. the weather has been as hot as anyone can remember and I have seen water temps up into the mid 90s., and the air temp up over 105 several days in a row, plus the added humidity! Now that I am about to go back to West Texas, I feel sure it will be the hottest September on record ever there...and here, as soon as I leave, the dang fish will be jumping in the boat(some one else's boat) LOL! ok...I fulfilled my obligation.....thanks for the forum. (that's my compliment part)
