S-8 filing is required when securities are to be offered to employees pursuant to employee benefit plans. For more information, see:

An S-8 is a Form required by the SEC to register Certain employee benefit plans under, in this case Incentive Stock Option Plan. It is required to be filed when a plan is adopted and to be updated at least annually or whenever a plan is amended. It is a very standard form and nothing to be concerned about.
