Been there. AKM shooting was present whenever u crossed
Abkhasia mountain border ever since 1987. I feel Russia may
had to interfere to prevent genocide in South Osetia, BWDIK.
Now all this Nato crap and oil is getting dragged in by the '
West. It's not about zad. Georgians are overall very nice
but "hot" folks. So are Osetians and Abhazians, and they
really don't like each other. Ethnic conflicts have been
present forever, and intensified after the Soviet Union
collapsed. The truth is, the people of these "separatist"
regions could be completely annihilated. Not sure it's fair.
Here is to peacekeeping mission! Russia did not go there,
Georgia did. The West paints it all as big bad Russia going
after a sovereing country because of NATO or oil or whatever.
Big bad Putin. Shrub - wrong in Iraq, wrong in Iran, wrong
AGAIN! What a Moron. IMHO. Russia is telling the truth about
protecting its citizen and to prevent another GENOCIDE in
the region. Again, long history. FWIW, Joseph Stalin's nationality was Georgian, his real name was Iosef
Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili
