I absolutely don't see this as an issue involving the US electoral cycle. There is too much uncertainty. Oh!Bummer looks good now but there are no guarantees. He will increasingly be seen as an empty suit traipsing through the daisies while mouthing vague but unsubstantial pronouncements, all of which I think will cut his lead. McCain's campaign is not being run by anyone very smart, either. He'll be seen as more of the same-same A horse race with a razor thin photo-finish, IMO, as usual. That being the case, the Georgians betting their national future on the resolution of the elections one way or the other is crazy, IMO.
