Sonny,

Barry was kind to take the TGV train from Paris and come to Lyon. We spent great time talking stocks over Bordeaux wine and French cheese. It was a very pleansant afternoon.

Thank you for info regarding CPQ. To me the company is a money
machine and the prospects are great. As for INTC, I am with you
100%. I don't care about the correction. Just look what happened from
1980 to Oct. of 1987! The stocks went up! Again what happened from
Nov. 1987 until Oct. 1997? The stocks went up again and we made money
and plenty of it. So my friend,we had 20 years of propserity, and OCt. 1987 is only a footnote in the history of the stock market. What took place on Friday will forgotten by the end of 1997. We are investors and we are here to stay. I am only sorry for those who lost money buying on margins or buying calls call traders.
There are plenty of panic mongers on the threads, full of pretense,
using fancy words and numbers and scaring the life out of common mortals like us. At this moment, those who can wait and sell short
will be real loosers.

No I haven't read Garfunkel's note but will look it up. Is it on our
thread?

I am taking my son to see MIT tonight! He just made me play 36 holes
and no wants to see a movie!

Take care,

Yaacov
