"I strongly condemn the outbreak of violence in Georgia, and urge an immediate end to armed conflict," Obama said in a statement. "Now is the time for Georgia…{currently under attack}… to show restraint, and to avoid an escalation to full-scale war."
Meanwhile TBILISI, Georgia - Russia expanded its bombing blitz to the Georgian capital, deployed ships off the coast and, a Georgian official said, sent tanks from the separatist region of South Ossetia into Georgian territory, heading toward a border city before being turned back Sunday. Russia also claimed its forces sank a Georgian missile boat news agencies reported.
French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner called the hostilities in South Ossetia "massacres,"---"Russia further escalated its aggression overnight, using weapons on unprecedented scale,"
Imagine -- Barack Hussein Obama “chastising” Georgians for their “lack of restraint” and “lack of tolerance” over several thousand people being massacred in one evening!
Well I guess he wasn’t expecting many electoral votes from either Georgia or Alabama so he didn’t see what the crisis was why everyone was making such a big deal of it.

{57 States!} Barack Hussein Obama has repeatedly claimed to visited “all 57 states” while campaigning for president of the United States --- what is the big deal if we lose a couple of states like Geogia or even Alabama in this Russian invasion?
And some political opponents claim he is weak in foreign policy! Weak?
Oddly ---It was my understanding that NATO countries are virtually “required” to defend the mutual sovereignty of each other’s borders. Whether we are on the verge of another World War or the threat thereof, I would think that world economies and stock markets are going to be – at minimum – quite “rattled” next week.
While “Russia-invading Georgian-crisis” unfolded over the weekend and was {amazingly} “masked” by the Olympic hoopla in the American media, a more astute observer has to recognize that this “heavy-handed” attack was much more serious than our {Obama-loves-everyone-can’t-we-all-just-get’along-Amer ican-liberal-mass-media-posing-as-“Free Press”} media coverage would suggest.
I wonder? What will World War III mean for the stock market next week? Remember -- R-E-S-T-R-A-I-N-T!
The media has too much to handle anyway! They can't even find much space for the John Edwards story, let alone World War III! Remember that the Evening News is only 30 minutes long so they have to make choices on what to cover.
Edwards? Who would have thought that someone who paid $400 for a haircut and had such a sincere smile was narcissistic? All along I thought he was a altruistic, unselfish saint!
What else is the media covering up? I hope they don't find something really horrific about Obama next! What if they find that he bought, sold and utilized cocaine and even crack? Let’s hope Obama doesn’t have skeletons in his closet or my faith in the policital system and in the fairness and capabilities of the media to report the “unbiased” truth will be shattered.
Imagine the trouble that NBC would have if Russia actually bombed a NATO country on the same day as the Olypmics started! That would sure screw up a big investment in air time! Wouldn’t that signal the demise of the American Free Press? |
