I saw Sleeman (the CEO/President/Chairman) on TV this afternoon. A new show, I think, called "investors online" dealing with websites and computer trading programs, had an interview with Ted Carter of Carters Choice Newsletter etc. Mr Sleeman was asked why the stock was off a buck recently. He attributes that to investors lumping the company in with many of the other micro breweries, especially in the US, that are suffering. He says that sales are up 20% in Ontario and 100% in Quebec over last year and they are expanding to meet that growth. When asked he mentioned they have no present plans to expand into the US however he mentioned some kind of an affiliation with Strohs and their distribution network. I'm not sure why he brought that up. No plans to introduce new brands at this time, too many brands equals lesser quality in his opinion, rather they are concentrating on marketing their existing line. He looks like a real beer drinker, long hair, 2 days growth and a great attitude. I have put this stock on my watch list. I brew my own beer now so I havn't had the pleasure of trying the Honey Brown yet. My own supply will be gone tonight so as part of my DD I'll be drinking a couple of cases shortly. hic. Cheers
