Steve,

Now that there are two Steves posting here.....and the other Steve is becoming the wiz-wonder of the search.......and earning cigars and rings at a rapid rate......I must now say that Steve Felix shoud be refered to as "Big Steve".......and the other Steve as "little Steve"
I justify this by noting that the new steve uses small case letters like myself, while Steve Felix does not. Felix is also very high up in the Commission and, as such, deserves the honor and respect that comes from such a designation. Steve Felix may also be refered to as "Steve-o, and Bubba".

Little steve, you are finding some very powerful stuff for the thread. I belive all here owe you a big "thanks".......You and David are co-persons of the month.....ipso facto...done deal.

The October 16th news article about China ID cards is a very good find......and may just be very, very significant. Two things come to mind. One is the presence of a deligation from China that we believe was at the TP-600 demonstration a few weeks ago. The other is the Laser Card contract to supply ID cards for China......and the relationship that LASX has with Identix.

Here are the links......The fact that a group from China was at the TP-600 show, is on a post from a few weeks ago.......

SANDIA IMAGING SYSTEMSÿ RECEIVES ORDER
FOR CHINA NATIONAL CITIZEN ID CARDS
Production of 40 Million Cards over Five Years at $27 million
Worth of Printers, Supplies and Services

Carrollton, TX - Sandia Imaging systems, a majority-owned subsidiary of Lasertechnics, Inc. (NASDAQ:LASX), today announced it will supply eight Multistation digital card printers, consumables and services to the People's Republic of China as part of a $2.2 million contract to produce fraud-resistant national identification cards for Chinese citizens.

According to Sandia, if the program continues to run as expected, Sandia may supply an additional $27 million of its printers and supplies to the PRC over a five year period. Sandia's $2.2 million order from the PRC covers the cost of eight Sandia Multistation Model 5R printers and supplies. The printers are initially expected to produce three million ID cards by March 1998.

ps. Big Steve....The original thought of this post is that I agree with your post.......I want to see sales growth and expansion plans. I want to see how IDX is going to be a very large company. I want to see 100% product sales increases and 30% increases in people. The massive profits will come......It is not easy to manage a company that is growing so quickly........I feel comfortible with the way that this company is being run......and built.
