What bothers me the most is that this company appears to have intentionally waited to the very last minute to reveal that they got caught holding the bag on the Mach deal. Why didn't they admit they made a mistake and moved on so we could all focus on the business. Instead, the 10k is confusing and filled with news that is very hard to interpret against the backdrop of the financials. And what is Reggie Fountain's autobiography doing in the 10K anyway? In the meantime, I lost my confidence over this delay in reporting the news and will sit on the sidelines for a while to see how all of this is sorted out by the market. I have a feeling, at least for the short term, that it won't be positive.
