(have to replenish my stock, and haven't looked to see if vit D even comes in gel form, but thought I'd check with you.)

Glad I caught you. If you are taking Vitamin D in tab form, it's just about worthless. Davis consistantly finds that it doesnt show up in lab tests. The only way to buy is softgels.

I buy mine on line in 2000IU caps. Usually Carlson brand. 360 softgels to a bottle. I take 4 a day. It's almost impossible to overdose on D. If this scares you, buy the 1000IU instead.

You lose, between age 20 and 70, 70% of your ability to manufacture D from the sun. So supplements are the way to go. Buy Carlson from the cheapest online source you can find, and watch out for their delivery charge. A lot will "bait" with low price and "switch" with delivery charge.

I bought my last bottles from Vitamin life. Check out these companies. I don't think you can beat them at a local store. google.com
