Hi Paul. What do you think about the "new-and-improved" buyout rumor? I didn't think much of it until I saw the official response from ASND. Doesn't, "declines to comment" translate as YES?<G> They might HAVE to: I see Townsend is sueing ROK. ROK has proved to be the thorn in ASNDs side. (As WE knew all along<G>) If LU grabbed ASND, they could totally eliminate any further hassels. LU could pick up ASND on the cheap, slip their own chip in the ASND hardware and be off to the races. As far as I know, there shouldn't be a problem between Townsend and LU and LU's chip "seems" far superior to ROK's in the first place. I remember back a year ago, I was getting anonymous E-mail from some lurker EE's who were never worried about ROK anyway. It was LU that they said was the wild card and to watch out for. Just thinking out loud, but I'd LOVE to swap the rest of my ASND shares for some LU.
